Datum je bil izbran kot spomin na protest in smrt bengalskih \u0161tudentov, ki so 21. februarja 1952 v Pakistanu zahtevali enakopravnost za svoj materin jezik, bengal\u0161\u010dino.<\/p>\n<p>Namen mednarodnega dneva maternih jezikov je spodbujanje spo\u0161tovanja tako lastne materin\u0161\u010dine kot tudi drugih ljudi ter njihovih materin\u0161\u010din in kultur. Z njim opozarjajo na potrebo po\u00a0ohranjanju kulturne in jezikovne raznolikosti po svetu.<\/p>\n<p>Ve\u010d na <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspnet.si\/teme-in-mednarodni-dnevi\/mednarodni-dnevi\/mednarodni-dan-maternih-jezikov.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">naslednji<\/a> strani.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Na ta dan se spomnimo, da moramo skrbeti za svoj materni jezik. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In spo\u0161tovati materne jezike drugih ljudi.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>21. februar je Unesco leta 1999 razglasil za mednarodni dan maternega jezika.
